Carol motolo foundation in partnership with The Glam brings you the first of its social responsibility activities called #StopAbuse . This initiative came about after realizing that a lot of human beings are succumbed to abuse either physical, emotional and sexual to mention but a few. These types of abuse lead to substance abuse and suicide in other appalling situations. For one day only, the public is invited to come join us in a silent protest scheduled to take place on Friday 27th April 2018 that will start at Moshoeshoe Statue (Park) from 11am. The march shall start with a gathering at the park then 30 Minutes later move to Maseru Mall using the Pioneer Rd and Kofi Anan Rd route, passing through Katlehong, to get to the mall. When speaking on why she decided to start the #StopAbuse campaign Tasha Motolo says; “...having experienced sexual and physical abuse myself, I felt the need to educate people how traumatizing any kind of abuse has on an individual or rather victim. We are often told one has been abused but have never seen how critical the effects are. So I think it is time we stood up and raised our voice towards this disease ending our generation and world at large.” On why they decided to join forces to make this campaign a success Quizy of Glam TV says; "...we believe this is part of our corporate social responsibility activities and we simply want to give back to the community of Lesotho and we hope this will make the necessary noise and grab as much attention in raising awareness on abuse. We are not limiting it to a certain group of people or gender, but its for all races, gender, sexuality, religion and backgrounds, who feel are affected by abuse. God was watching over him!! Truly! HBCU student and member of Alpha Phi Alpha!! Saved many lives in Tennessee yesterday! Shooter still on the loose in Nashville!! What we need to understand about these conscious killers who keep being excused away as mentally ill, is that they are conscious enough to kill & need to be handled accordingly. The killer consciously shot and killed 3 African Americans and 1 Latino; then went home to put on some pants after being wrestled down by Shaw and his gun jamming! But what needs to be noted is: The FBI released information overnight that this is the same guy that was caught on the White House lawn several years ago, with 4 guns!!!!!! 1) Not only that!! They gave the freaking guns back, to his father!!!!! (woulda never happened if this young man was black!) 2) Not only did they give them back, but the gun used in Nashvile's killing was one of those guns!!! Because the father gave them back to him!! If this isn't the SICKEST CYCLE in the world!! And at each point there were calls saying this dude was delusional and mentally I'll! So, if that's the case what the f*ck are the authorities for????? Are they not "authorized" to take him in for mental testing? Are they not authorized to say, of the 3 arrests he had before this incident, that he needs to be held for mental issues?
