Sometimes I marvel at the parts of life that look and feel like nothing special - take this view, which on paper is questionably instagramable - and yet hold a sense of wonder that is unable to be captured and bottled up for the benefit of others. I often find this to be true about things requiring a sense of depth and size. For me this view is a quintessential example of this part of the UK. I love the brick, which reminds me both of beautiful houses from where I grew up as well as the more uniform solution to housing in urban areas. Most of all, I love what this view represents to me and the fact that you can see more sky than anything else despite the hundreds of houses on a hill. And yes, due to the lovely and extended summer here in Lux, I even appreciate the cloudiness that encompasses so much of the English weather. What do you see?
