Taliesin Projects. Low cost housing, Swansea, Wales. Feasibility study for 6 prototype houses for a housing association in West Wales. The intention is to utilise recyclable and largely locally sourced building materials such as profiled steel sheeting, reconstituted slate roof / wall cladding and waste construction timber internally. Shoe Store Design Ideology/(VK-04) Believing that the shoe shopping experience should feel fun, leisurely and exciting, @renesa.architects has designed this concrete B2B store chamber with a tinge of brass displaying "elite footwear" range by Indian Cricket Captain @virat.kohli . This 1200 sq ft footwear spatial experience revolves around the theme of merging Architectural Brass Cleat detailing into the sole cleat detailing. From fairly restricting and seeking to highlight the product , the design is inviting and open with the feeling of walking into a gallery along with the conference table and waiting lounge for the official meeting zones on the other side. The austere and rectilinear space is defined by monolithic concrete flooring going upto the walls with the brass features merging with the teak wood to create a design harmony . We displayed this installation at 5th Edition of Jaipur Art Summit-2017 at Ravindra Manch, the name of the venue speaks the objective of the summit, Rabindranath Tagore and his sayings are an epitome of art and culture. We are elevating an art installation, which will set in motion by the thought which says, “With what you already have ”. This thought will revolve around the concept of “Reduce-Reuse-Recycle” The art piece possesses a particular relationship, whether temporary or permanent, with the spatial environment on an architectural, conceptual and social level. It builds a high level of affinity among itself and the spectator, as it exists not as a precious object to be merely looked at but as a presence within the overall context of its surrounding. The installation is built such that it can transform the space into many sub spaces, without disturbance to any other. It will be a contrast space to the open air theatre, existing, as it will not follow the formal rules of creating a gathering space where focus and purpose remains constant. India cocktail Bar | Barumbar Indian cocktail bar with a fusion design language. The space resurrect the inner passion for art, while the electric blue adds a drama to the upcoming fusion bar. A modern watery & bar injects an Indian identity in the design language, focusing traditional elements like the series of steps- the Baoli wall and a modern take on the series of arches. Quaint details include the customised tiger inspired pop-up wall art and murals. The tropical inspired cushions & upholstery . BADEL BLOCK should not become an ordinary city block, but rather a truly special and remarkable one. Can the current incompleteness be seen as a plus, a chance not to make a yet another closed city block? A possibility to mix the unmixable into a super tasty urban cocktail. How about providing a one of a kind adrenalin rush for all? Sort of a neon bath function mix. People witnessing extreme sports craziness for breakfast. That kind of remarkable. The new BADEL BLOCK is not a compromise. The Badel FUN FACTORY intervention consists of a contextual separation, but at the same time, at a more profound level integration of the two main requirements – that of the public and private sectors. It is because of a desire for maximization of the two needs within the block confines that led to a vertical and horizontal separation of the PUBLIC versus PRIVATE. Therefore, the HORIZONTAL opens itself almost entirely to the public and all private activities are concentrated within the VERTICAL, erected upon one rectangle of the grid. The tower as a vertical pole is visible from all parts of the city and beyond. It functions as a signpost and attractor to the city and finally to the block. Blue is the color of the city of Zagreb. It is the color of its flag, of its tour buses, trams, bicycles, balloons. It’s the color of Badel FUN FACTORY. People are energy. People are building blocks of the concept. With a history of 3500 years, Wuhan is not only one of the most ancient and populated metropolitan cities in China, but also the thriving heart of Central China’s economic and cultural development. As the city rapidly changes so does the taste of its inhabitants, and while local food retains its almost legendary fame, customers are increasingly eager for innovative culinary experiences. In late 2016, Q&A Architecture Design Research was asked by a leading international food and beverage group in Wuhan to design a flagship restaurant serving both hot and cold dishes, coffee and bakery products. In 2017, in hopes to boost the use of Hida beef hide in furniture products, we developed HIDA Leather, product registration number 6001390. This is the first and only known attempt to use specific brand-name cow hide in furniture. Under the rigorous Hida beef processing structure, the hide is refrigerated within one hour of slaughtering, which contributes to superior quality leather. The hide is handled by world-class craftsman with vegetable-based tannin. The leather with such tannin shows original marks and spots from the animal and ages nicely over time.
