I was always searching for something more, and after placing the word ‘meaningful’ into a job search site stumbled across a Chiropractic Assistant Role for a Network Chiropractor. It was the only position to come up under the keyword, so I applied and received the position.
This was the first time I felt like ‘home’ somewhere, and fell immensely in love with what Network and Gentle Chiropractic brought to the community not just physically but mindfully & spiritually.
After completing a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Psychology and Minor in Philosophy at Deakin University, I then went on to study Chiropractic- a five year/full time double degree.
I graduated from RMIT University obtaining a Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic)/Bachelor of Clinical Science (Chiropractic) with Distinction and was a Golden Key Society Member after achieving in the top 15% academically. I was also awarded by the Chiropractic Association of Australia for my Community Service within Indigenous Communities.
In 2017, I travelled to India with 9 peers chosen to participate in the Hands On Health program and delivered Chiropractic treatment to approximately 600 people in need. I have volunteered extensively at other Hands On Health locations on the Mornington Peninsula and within Indigenous communities in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, delivering affordable Chiropractic care to the public.
I am a ‘Non Cracking’ Gentle Chiropractor, Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Holistic Counsellor and I have an extensive interest in learning about world religions, culture, nature, animals, food, art, self-improvement, spirituality and ultimately living in alignment with my true purpose.
My goal is to empower you on your health and wellness journey, through light yet powerful touch, breath work and by honouring your body’s communication. I utilise the latest techniques and work within an evidence base framework. I practice from @thisislifewellness on Wednesday’s & Saturdays and look forward to meeting you!

Then incorporate the single arm dumbbell row into your workouts!✌🏽This free weight exercise primarily targets the latissimus dorsi muscle, and to a lesser extent the rear deltoid heads, rhomboids, middle traps, biceps and forearm muscles. Performing rows unilaterally (one limb at a time) allows for increased contractions on the targeted muscles. This exercise also allows us to build both back width and thickness all at once. 🙌🏽 To prevent those injuries, focus on using weights which allow you to maintain proper technique as opposed to just lifting heavy weights! . Single Arm Dumbell Row Cues: . 1⃣Make sure you're NOT hyperextending the neck and focus on keeping the neck, head and spine in a neutral position. . . 2⃣Keep your core engaged and do NOT rotate your body at the top of the movement. . . 3⃣Retract your shoulders at the top of the movement and protract at the bottom of the movement. . . 4⃣Lastly, do not row towards the chest, but the hip! . . C DIFF aka my nemesis. 5 years ago surgery left me with a hospital infection, despite treatment and medical trials I still carry the bacteria and the torturous flare ups still plague me. The pain is so intense I often get a fever or pass out on the spot. Loosing control of my bowel is common and even when it's just me there it's still utterly humiliating. Soon after the flare up the Colitis arrives, inflating and twisting my bowel which brings with it a new pain. One so bad I literally forget to breathe. Yesterday was particularly nasty, and as I lay here in sweat soaked sheets listening to my husband run me a bath, and I'm just grateful the worst is over. Oft liegt eine Blockierung des Iliosakralgelenk im Becken vor und somit eine Aufrichtung des Oberkörpers verhindert. Anatomische Dinge wie eine Hüftdysplasie dass die Gelenkpfanne nicht richtig ausgebildet ist und eine vollständige Bewegung ➡️nicht reibungslos funktioniert. April is "Stress Awareness Month" and here are some basic tips from our team to help you manage your stress better😎 Here is a bit more information about stress and how our bodies work under it. "Physiology research shows that stress response memory lives in your nervous system. Take for example exposure to a very stressful event. The brain knows when it needs to activate the “flight or fight” survival mechanism. When you feel helpless, hopeless and lack of control you activate your Sympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system is part of the autonomic nervous system(ANS) which is responsible for all controlling unconscious actions like breathing. Under normal circumstances, the Sympathetic Nervous System activates in response to extreme physical, cognitive or emotional stress. This is useful as it allows our body to adapt to situations and ensures we have enough fuel for the crisis. Nowadays, the stresses are everywhere around us from paying the bills, till meeting that deadline at work. By caring for our bodies and understanding the physiologic process that is trying to keep us safe from every trigger, trauma, danger it helps us treat ourselves with kindness. The work is to “retrain” our body. This can be done by understanding and working our health triangle. The three sides of the health triangle that everyone is affected by. The three sides are compromised of physical, chemical and emotional health. It is equally important in obtaining and maintaining this triangle in balance. Yes I’d say if I get people these types of results two years ago in a 3-6 month time frame, I’d be pretty darn happy. Two weeks ago, I learned from the master of masters 🙏 @vinnierehab , been through hell of a week of brain trauma and mind blown because what I saw was unbelievable. Yesterday I worked on my granduncle who had shoulder, knee pains and bothers him in daily physical activities including climbing the stairs, putting his shirt on and sleeping. After one session, we had the most dramatic results that I literally need 3-6 months of mobilizing, stretching, stabilizing and strengthening and... this was all done in a little less than an hour yesterday. Best thing was he had a big smile this morning because he finally got a quality restorative sleep that he hasn’t had for a while! Thank you @myodetox U!!! Sick!

WAIT, hold on a sec, is this really the case❓❓The core is a hugely debated and controversial topic in the chiropractic and sports realm and is no doubt of importance to human biomechanics 👩🔧 , but is it the missing link to all problems associated with spinal dysfunction❌? The core by definition is a canister🛢 of muscles located in our abdominal area which includes our back muscles, abs and obliques that help stabilise our spine so it doesn’t flop around so it’s as solid as a tree trunk 🌳. But the core is more than that, it is system of muscles working together in order to not only stabilise our spine but also control it when it moves in different planes✈️ and bodily positions🤾🏻♀️. This becomes so important in bar work that is integral to gymnastics🤸♂️ and crossfit🏋️♂️. From my experience with crossfit athletes, the core goes beyond ‘the abs’ and includes the chest down to the knees⬇️. The therapists before just focused too much on the shoulder joint and provocated it ( maybe the bursa the most) by forcing it with stretching and acupressure techniques on the shoulder joint.👹🤜🏼🤛🏼👹 . In this case I worked on her scapula maybe 15-17 minutes and didn't touched her shoulder joint once. I was always searching for something more, and after placing the word ‘meaningful’ into a job search site stumbled across a Chiropractic Assistant Role for a Network Chiropractor. It was the only position to come up under the keyword, so I applied and received the position. This was the first time I felt like ‘home’ somewhere, and fell immensely in love with what Network and Gentle Chiropractic brought to the community not just physically but mindfully & spiritually. After completing a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Psychology and Minor in Philosophy at Deakin University, I then went on to study Chiropractic- a five year/full time double degree. I graduated from RMIT University obtaining a Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic)/Bachelor of Clinical Science (Chiropractic) with Distinction and was a Golden Key Society Member after achieving in the top 15% academically. I was also awarded by the Chiropractic Association of Australia for my Community Service within Indigenous Communities. In 2017, I travelled to India with 9 peers chosen to participate in the Hands On Health program and delivered Chiropractic treatment to approximately 600 people in need. I have volunteered extensively at other Hands On Health locations on the Mornington Peninsula and within Indigenous communities in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, delivering affordable Chiropractic care to the public. I am a ‘Non Cracking’ Gentle Chiropractor, Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Holistic Counsellor and I have an extensive interest in learning about world religions, culture, nature, animals, food, art, self-improvement, spirituality and ultimately living in alignment with my true purpose. My goal is to empower you on your health and wellness journey, through light yet powerful touch, breath work and by honouring your body’s communication. The thyroid is composed of two lobes that lie on either side of the trachea below the larynx. The gland is composed of follicles containing a protein like material surrounded by epithelial cells. . . Thyroid Hormones: Thyroxin production starts from the amino acid tyrosine when iodine is added to it. There are two active forms of thyroid hormone, triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxin (T4). The thyroid produces about 85% T4 and 15% T3. T3 is more physiologically active than T4. About 40% of T4 is converted to T3 in the cell. The approximately 60% is converted in the liver. . . Classic Thyroid Function: In relation to stimuli like stress, heat, cold and emotions, the hypothalamus produces thyroid releasing hormone (TRH)The pituitary responds to TRH and secretes thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). The thyroid, in response to TSH, then secretes thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) Thyroid Hormones: Increases energy, increases heart rate and blood pressure, simulates protein synthesis, and increases metabolic rate stimulates muscle and bone growth. T4 is converted/activated to T3, the levels of thyroid hormone act as a negative feed back loop on the stimulation of TRH. . .
