Roy is an overall kind-hearted soul who really has no place being in the centered of a demonic apocalypse, but much like everyone else, he never had much of a choice. Roy was born to a pair of demon hunters who, while he was in his early teens, were killed on the front lines. Left on his own, Roy couch surfed and worked odd jobs for shelter and food. He had his own run in with a demon that cost him his arm, but shortly afterwards he met Bandit and she built him his first cybernetic appendage.
The two became friends, but lost contact after a while when Roy set out for new work. Once the Happy Campers were formed, Roy was reunited with his friend and met her new teammates after entering a scrap with a demonic entity. After seeing him fight, they offered him a position in their gang, and he gratefully obliged.
Due to his parents' line of work, Roy is well versed in the use of a gun and other weaponry. He's a very talented sharpshooter, but has a preference for work that doesn't necessarily involve violence. Because of this, he was assigned the main duty of radio scanner and decoder. He searches radio frequencies for messages from fellow gangs as well as hacking into files of higher powers. He doesn't think of himself as very helpful to the gang when he doesn't have a gun in hand, but they all agree that without him they'd have been screwed on numerous occasions. Roy is a doubtful person with self-esteem issues and severe anxiety and depression that often has trouble finding his place in this tumultuous world. He's developed a bad habit of chain smoking and swears he'll quit tomorrow.
