You can only find what you’ve lost 👊 . I ‘lost’ a client today ... well I thought so anyway but then I remembered- you can only lose what you’ve had before and it was a brand new company that I had never worked with before. . At first I was a bit taken back when I got the abrupt email saying ‘I’ll pass.’ 😏 No reason, no ‘thank you for your time on the proposal’, no nothing... . Now taking a step back and thinking more about the process to see what I could have done better I realise it was the blessing in the sky. 🤓🤓 My proposal didn’t quite feel right in the first place and the initial contact was through a referral and not someone who’s reached out to me which is usually the case as they have seen who I am and what I do and what I can do for them. . Funnily enough, in a meeting this company came up in a conversation and let me tell you- it wouldn’t have been a good fit on both ends because our values are chalk and cheese and our agendas are from different planets. 🧐 It goes to show that your gut feeling always tells you something and whilst you may not realise what it is in the first place, it’s your values in action. . If they’re not congruent, everything feels like hard works and burns you out. . No money in this world can pay for the energy and time you spent on something that’s not in line with your beliefs and values. 👊 . 👉 Know your Value. 👉 Know your Worth. 👉 Know your People.
