Today I would like to talk about the role of connection in health and well-being. We need connections in life to thrive and survive. It is not just the connections that we have with our loved ones, but it is also the connections that we have with ourselves, our work, hobbies and our community. Connection plays a huge role in our well-being. Who and what are all the important connections in your life. What type of connection is it? Physical? Creative? Spiritual? Here are some of mine 💖 Myself 💖 My partner 💖My family 💖 My friends 💖 Be You Be Free and all my clients 💖Coogee 💖Movement 💖Nature 💖Music When we prioritse the time to work on our connections it leads to health and happiness. Here are some ways to increase your connections. 👉 Spend time with yourself. For just for 5 minutes a day sit with yourself, breathe and relax and just be. 👉 Smile and say hi to stranger each day 👉 Call an old friend you have lost touch with 👉 Write someone a letter. 👉 Practice RAK (random acts of kindness). Pay for a stranger’s coffee, donate blood, help the elderly cross the road, or help a friend out. 👉 Spread your connections far and wide. Make new friends, help existing friends, join a club, volunteer or help in the community. 👉 Choose the connections that work for you.
