This beautiful Aeronca LB is a definite #goldenage_monday #dailythemetag for @warbird_mafia . Aeronca introduced this low monowing design in 1935 paying attention to the aerodynamics, as noted with the "spats" added to the fixed landing struts. Aeronca Aircraft was based at Cincinnati's Lunken Field. Only 29 were built with the 85 hp LeBlond engine. This aircraft was recently restored at Zanesville, Ohio.
