My Journey With Taameer- Prateek Jain. "It takes me a lot of time to open up to people because it takes up a lot of time for people to get used to my weird side. But honestly, Taameer is one place, where my weirdness was welcomed with open arms. Definitely, there is always a shake of head, or someone always saying, "Prateek, itni tez gaana mat gaa, bohut bura gaata hai tu", but there have been moments that I would not trade for anything in this world. So, almost everyone knows about how I joined Taameer. About the Facebook post Rubhi put up on the page. What most people don't know is planning (if used very lightly)- two really spontaneous trips with Nik, who I just knew from over texts and calls at that time. The first one being like me saying, "I and my college friends are planning to go to Kasol, chalega?" And the second one being with him saying, "5-6 ko Banaras pohochenge hum log. Tu aa raha hai." Believe me, these trips, were not like asking, they were demands, and no was never an answer. I don't know, but working with these people is not really like working. It's more about being a part of a family function. There's joking going around, people laughing, nervous breakdowns of people not being prepared, people finding new talents and having a nice time with my family. Yeah, learning new things has always been a part of the work, but I think the memories made are much more relevant. Whether it was Baba giving a look that conveyed the entire joke or Swati saying to me, "Ek kaam kar, tu Paneer kha", it's always been beautiful to be part of this family, which holds everyone's uniqueness over anything else. It's about having conversations with Ashu telling him the day before, that I am also reaching Banaras the next day or about calling Rubhi at around 11.30 and telling him to say something, because it is always I who speaks and he doesn't. It's about telling Punita that she's my ultimate food partner and also about going on walks in North Campus with Priyanshi. I love everything about Taameer ❤ "Taameer is pyaar"
