This is my friend Enrico,an ex-F1 driver, teaching me about racing. . Think about this.. . Who do you take advice from? . Friends . Family . Acquaintances . Are they where you want to be? . Are they living the life you desire? . Have they done the things you wish to do? . Our tendency in life is to bounce our big dreams & ideas off of people we love and associate with daily . We trust them...so its only natural to confide in them . We all do it . And its usually a bad idea . Here is why...most people are incapable of thinking ANYTHING outside the limits of what they have accepted as "reality" of what is possible...and in a lot of cases...people believe that thinking outside these limits and wanting more is morally wrong, selfish, greedy and down right bad . Its not . Thinking big is scary to most because they dont understand it . Youve all heard the saying "success breeds success" and for a long time I interpreted that to mean that money flows from one generation to another. I was wrong . What it really means is that people who grow up around success see and think about their personal limits differently. They see less limits and more possibility . Why do you think it is a proven fact that most kids grow up and drive the same types of cars, hold the same jobs, earn the same income and live in similar neighborhoods as their parents? . Its the thought process that is bred into you growing up that ultimately determines where you end up. . BUT YOU CAN CHANGE IT . Breaking free of the mental limits you have can be hard and take time...and you have to open your mind to the idea of what is truly possible...and the quickest way to do that is to surround yourself and study every single thing you can about people living the kind of life you wish to live . Stop listening to people who haven't "done it". They cant possibly give you qualified advice on the moves you should make to get where it is you want to go...not because they dont care or love you...but because they haven't been there and dont understand . Would you take directions on how to bake a cake from someone who's never been in a kitchen before? . So why would you do that with something as important as your life?
