As I continue to observe Womens Month, I must recognize, Anayah Rose, the Mid-Wife Supreme. As a mother, wife and caretaker of women who are bringing new life in the world she is the consummate nurturer. A fighter for women in the truest sense. Anayah is indeed a rose in spirit, mind and body. And she was living Wakanda before you ever heard of the concept. Here is a real life moment to ponder; a mid-wife is the first person that touches your child, if you believe in the power of touch, it is important that the person who touches your child before you do be of positive energy and of great spirit. The duty of a father is to support his child, show him or her that you are here to support, teach guide on how the drums of life are played. A father must and encourage his heirs to grow into themselves for there will be time when they will have to stand alone and play alone. And when the time comes for them to stand alone, they must play their drums of life with their own rhythms, cadence and technique but yet when they teach their own kids the rhythm of life, they will hear the poetry of their father and his father's father within the wisdom of each beat, note and lesson.
