What a fantástico Teacher Appreciation Day! Our faculty room was transformed into a delightful restaurante. These volunteers thought of EVERYTHING! And with recess and lunch duties covered by even more volunteers, everyone was able to relax and enjoy their lunch. Door prizes and breakfast were also included. It was an amazing day and our teachers are touched by all the effort, care, and love that went into making them feel so special. 💚💚💚
We can't let #volunteerappreciationday go by without thanking our awesome #libraryvolunteers ! Thank you to weekly volunteers, Mrs. Lebarron, Mrs. Lori Roberts, Mrs. Poku, Mrs. Plante, Mrs. Costa, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Andries, and Mrs. Pam Roberts! The library wouldn't run so smoothly without you. Also thanks to the many book fair and pumpkin contest volunteers who make special events extra special. We're #blessed to have all of you.
ANS teachers, get ready for an appreciation fiesta tomorrow! These ANS moms were muy ocupadas today getting the faculty room ready for the breakfast and lunch and fun that will be provided for Teacher Appreciation Day. Thank you, Mrs. Okwiya, Mrs. Adams, Mrs. Lyon, and Mrs. Seremet! We're all looking forward to it! Bonus: All lunch and recess duties will be covered by parent volunteers.
Every single day.
Our volunteers are a treasure! Thank you for being generous with your time, talent, and heart. ❤️
Our first two 1st graders to achieve their AR goal this year are Abigail and Sean! Since this picture was taken, Connor reached his goal, too! See you in two weeks for lunch in the library.
There's one week left to help Santa fill his bag for less-fortunate children in Charles County. New, unwrapped toys are needed for children of all ages. Drop off your donations in the boxes located in the school lobby. Representatives from Charles County Children's Aid Society will be here Friday to collect it all for distribution.
Looks like our big snow is a big no! So the show will go on. Our open house for prospective families is tomorrow (Sunday), December 10 from noon to 2 pm. Come and see all how Archbishop Neale School can provide your children with a well-rounded education.

Congratulations to Mrs. Fawls' 6B homeroom for winning the Thanksgiving Food Drive Box Decorating Contest! Their food truck design was a winner! They get a free breakfast tomorrow. All the classes did a great job, and we collected soooooo much food! We'll be able to help lots of families in Charles County! To see photos of all of our collection boxes, check the Archbishop Neale School Facebook page.

I have never seen a student more excited to earn her AR goal than Jordyn! I wish I had video of her reaction when she saw that flower fill all the way to the top! Congrats to our 27 goal-getters. See you at Lunch In the Library next Friday! ☮💚📚
We're getting a lot of use out of our #techdollars ! Thanks to the funds raised from our Tee Off for Technology golf tournament, we have even more Chromebooks for our students. Here some 7th-graders in one of Mrs. Fawls' science classes use the Chromebooks and @flocabulary to learn about cells.
Our Thanksgiving Food Drive is in full swing! NJHS students are working with each homeroom to decorate their collection boxes and to discuss the importance of this annual community outreach effort. Once again, there will be a contest to see which class' collection box is decorated the best. The winning class will get a free breakfast! Please bring your nonperishable food donations between now and November 21.
Our 6th grade students, dressed as saints, participated in our lovely #allsaintsday mass. This mass was also special because it is the first time in many years that we've had our all-school mass back at Sacred Heart Church instead of in our school gymnasium. It was great to be back!

Yesterday was a fun and busy day for our #anseagles faculty, staff, and families. PreK and kindergarten students had early open house that included getting to meet our #mascot Archie the Eagle! In the early evening we hosted back-to-school night for our grade 1 through 8 families. Only 4 more days until we begin our 90th year of providing excellence in Catholic education in #southernmaryland ! If your family snapped any photo booth pics at the pre-k/k open house and you'd like to share them on our social media, please send them to email@example.com.

April 28, 2002 an F4 tornado destroyed the Archbishop Neale School building. It could not destroy the faith, strength, and sense of community that are hallmarks of this #catholicschool . During the 2017-18 school year, we'll celebrate 90 years of faith, knowledge, and service. ANS alumni are asked to send contact info (class year, address, phone, email) to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can keep you apprised of events and info.
