Day 106/365 of #365daysofwatercolor ... I can't believe that I am just starting on these again. I got so busy working on my festival pieces that I just had to prioritize what got done and these unfortunately got pushed to the side. ☹️ I was just so busy creating pieces for a festival that I just had to stop. Anyways, the important thing is that I started them up again! Today I painted a #teapot 🍵
Day 162: For those who believe the camera captures the soul, this portrait is the reason Madame Claire's ghost still haunts the old Mansion of Bunning Hollow.
Day 159/365: Moonlight over the Mountains
152/365: This is going to be me during my mid-life crisis, riding a moped through the downtown of some Parisian city.
Day 151/365: I'm tired. If I were a bunny, this would so be me 😴🐰
MARK YOUR CALENDARS, PEOPLE! I'm participating as a craft vendor at the 37th annual Strawberry Festival in Sandy Spring, Maryland on June 2nd and 3rd. I have been busy making lots of cool things like a variety of weavings in different sizes, pom pom magnets, scarves, framed watercolor paintings in different sizes, and watercolor bookmarks! This festival is a lot of fun and is filled with food, drinks, awesome craft vendors, music, and great games and enterntainment. This is my first time participating in an art fair and am quite anxious about it. I would love to see some friendly faces during the festival. So come on by and say hi! 🍓 Link below: https://www.sandyspringmuseum.org/strawberry-festival/
Day 130: watched a watercolor video by Angela Fehr yesterday and she said she likes to mix the colors on the painting instead of the palette. So, inspired by this idea, I performed an experiment to see how certain colors interact with one another.
Day 100/365 of #365daysofwatercolor ... Today I painted a #margarita glass! I like margaritas frozen with no salt 😉. I can't believe that I have been doing these for 100 days! 🎉🎊🍾 Some of the paintings I really love and some were decent attempts... but I still learned something from each one! Only 265 more to go and 8 1/2 more journals to fill!
Day 99/365 of #365daysofwatercolor ... I am 3 days behind on my paintings because life happened so oh well. I'm just going to keep going and not catch up 😔 the whole point is daily paintings anyhway.
