EXERCISE IS AMAZING AND VITAL FOR LIVING A LONG HEALTHY LIFE. BUT LIFTING HEAVY WEIGHTS OR RUNNING LONG DISTANCES PUTS LOTS OF STRESS ON THE BODY AND OUR NERVOUS SYSTEMS. FOR THIS REASON FOCUSING ON RECOVERY IS AS IMPORTANT AS THE HARD TRAINING YOU ARE DOING. WHILE WE EXERCISE WE BEGIN TO DAMAGE MUSCLE TISSUE WHILE ALSO STRESSING THE BODY OUT AND SENDING OUR BODY INTO A SYMPATHETIC STATE (FIGHT OR FLIGHT MODE).
