The first result of a productive and busy night! After a few jobs totalling nearly 500 photos including an astro shoot with a friend doing hand stands under the Milky Way, I decided it was the night to attempt a shot of the Kawarau River above the Bungy Bridge I used to work at!
I've had this one in mind for a while, which is actually a big 360º panorama, but knew there was a very bright and annoying light making life difficult.. That pano I'm currently working on and may release at a later date, but I'm hoping to get back here soon for a second, lightless attempt..
For this shot I had some fun playing with a few trucks driving past leaving nice light trails behind on the bridge, it took a few test shots to get my settings right to not over expose their lights. I then I took another shot for the stars & a 76 second exposure for the darker foreground areas :)
