I see you Djing without the Vinyl 👀 lol
@dj_nate_561 yeah man straight mixing and smooth transition, I was told not to bring any big equipment and i didn't want to bring the ns7 so I remapped the s9 and it worked great, I even did a house party with it that same day. You def will see it more from now on, easy set up....
No need for a big expensive wedding when a small simple one that honors Jehovah will do! November broadcast really brought that point home. Congrats to Pierreline!!! #jwwedding
@djdreezydre I figured, that s9 takes up no space at all, I know it would hurt a little bit not being able to scratch into a transition tho 😭 lol
@dannia_j_event_portfolio the best way to go.
@dj_nate_561 the struggle was real 😂... it was a little weird at first but I got use to it. Depending on the genre of music I will be playing I can bring the s9 any day... but for a better professional set up at big events I will bring out a full set up
To me not having my turntables takes away from being creative and having fun. It’s not like not bringing them is going to make a difference in my prices.
@dj_davidbraz true, i can say it was kind of weird because i always have full control using either the turntables or ns7 but when the client insist on keeping things simple I had to make it, and it was fun, straight smooth transition and the cue points helped a lot... it wasn't about the price neither
@djdreezydre so it was just to look simple? If that’s the case someone missed the point of the broadcast lol. All good though. If it all worked out well that’s what matters. Lol
@djdreezydre her wedding was planned way before the broadcast came out so that wasn’t the point... the comment you read that another sister making an observation. The brother that booked me told me the place was small, don’t bring a lot of equipment it’s for a small wedding. “Keeping things simple” meaning they just wanted nice dance music, no hip-hop or reggae, no lights etc... but it was beautiful, elegant and fun. If didn’t have option I’d still bring the ns7, but we still rock it with the s9 and i will again in the future
@djdreezydre gotta do what u gotta do. Looked fun. Keep it up bro.
@dj_davidbraz it’s not about what equipment is being used but who’s using the equipment 😂. I’ve seen dj full set up but can’t mix two songs 😂. It worked out great. S9 and two QSC’s 🙌🏿
@djdreezydre well...it’s limiting, you can’t deny that. It’s like asking a uber driver to use a bicycle lol.
@dj_davidbraz naw that’s two completely different things 😂. The s9 is a beast on its own, stand-alone mixer. I’m not a scratch DJ, I’m learning tho. I’m a clean mixing smooth transition type of dj specially when I playing konpa, oldies, bachata, reggae, merengue etc even Afro beats. It’s was limited, facts and weird at first but after a few practice at home and now 5 hours live at a wedding, it’s fun.
@djdreezydre my decks are an extension of me lol. Where I go they go. Lol
@dj_davidbraz I respect that 👊🏿
