I set myself a goal 12months ago when I started my weight loss journey that I would run at this years 10km event at the Melbourne Marathon. I thought it's now time to start really training for it. This was my first run in a while and I know that this may not be a quick time but it's a start and something to build on. Running 2.5km and walking the rest and now this is my starting point and it's onwards and upwards from here. There has been challenges along the way and between now and October 15th there still will be but that's life and you have to take them challenges on to achieve greatness.
