We'd like to introduce our wonderful medical student, soon-to-be Dr. Dallin Erickson. He just finished his 3rd year at AT Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dallin attended Weber State Univ. in Ogden, Utah for his undergraduate studies where he earned his degree in Medical Laboratory Science. .
🔬Dallin states that his time at SPARCC was one of his favorite rotations in medical school. "Working with Dr. Mo gave me the perfect opportunity to gain the experience that I wanted, to learn more about sports medicine and become more comfortable managing common sports injuries. Dr. Mo was great to work with and gave me many opportunities to expand my knowledge."
.
🔬He plans on specializing in Family
Medicine because he enjoys the variety of patients that are seen. "The opportunity to form long lasting relationship with my patients is also a strong draw towards family medicine for me". .
🔬He shares the following advice to Pre-Med students:
"...students should take time to shadow doctors so that they can ensure that is what they want to do. I also recommend finding a current med student who can be a mentor."
.
🔬In his free time Dallin enjoys playing soccer camping, backpacking, mountain biking, hiking and fly-fishing. When he goes home he spends time snowboarding and snowshoeing. .
🔬We look forward to seeing you soon Dallin! We admire your attention to detail and passion for medicine. Thank you for your contributions to our clinic.
